Debi Olson founded the Ladies of Latitude in March 2022. Her vision was to create a social organization for residents of Latitude Margaritaville Watersound to make new friends and nourish lasting friendships.
From its humble beginnings at a luncheon with 52 women attending, it has grown to become a thriving, well-respected organization with over 1,000 members.
During Debi’s tenure as President, more than 40 events were organized and executed and countless friendships were established.
Debi set the bar high. Her commitment to excellence ensured that every event was carefully planned, organized and executed to ensure success.
As a breast cancer survivor herself, Debi is passionate about supporting individuals and organizations who are or have been affected by this terrible disease. During the past three years, she with the help of the committees she has led, has raised approximately $80,000 to support local organizations.
Although Debi officially stepped down as the leader of Ladies of Latitude in March, she continues to support the organization. Her legacy will long be remembered.
